Representatives from Turan Trade participated at the recent conference titled “Revitalizing Water and Wastewater Infrastructure in Karabakh” held on February 21, 2024, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Baku. Facilitated by the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan), the conference brought together over 100 esteemed business delegates from Azerbaijan and Germany. The focal point of discussions revolved around strategies and opportunities for addressing the infrastructure challenges in the Karabakh region, particularly concerning water and wastewater systems.
This event was part of a broader initiative, the Environmental Protection Export Initiative, spearheaded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety, and Consumer Protection (BMUV) of Germany. The initiative aims to propel environmental technologies and solutions into international markets, fostering sustainable development globally.
Throughout the conference, attendees engaged in fruitful dialogues encompassing technological innovations, financing strategies, regulatory frameworks, and sustainable development practices pertinent to water and wastewater infrastructure projects. These discussions paved the way for potential collaborations and investments, laying the groundwork for impactful initiatives in the region.
The event not only served as a platform for knowledge exchange and networking but also highlighted the collaborative efforts between German and Azerbaijani stakeholders towards sustainable reconstruction and development in Karabakh. Such initiatives are instrumental in fostering resilience and addressing critical infrastructure gaps in conflict-affected areas.
