EU-Azerbaijan Business mission to Nakhchivan
On 3-4 November 2022, within the framework of the EU-Azerbaijan Business Forum, representatives of Turan Trade LLC have participated in a sector-specific business mission to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
The business mission focused on Alternative Energy, Tourism, and Transport/Logistics with the aim to explore current developments and investment opportunities for EU businesses in Azerbaijani regions.
Around 15-20 European companies and about 15 European diplomats including EU Head of Mission Ambassador Peter Michalko have participated in the mission.
This sector-specific business mission was delivered under the framework of the EU Azerbaijan Business Forum, a flagship initiative funded by the European Union with the objective to strengthen the non-oil sector in Azerbaijan by improving the business climate and supporting the economic diversification of the country. The main objectives of the Project are devoted to the promotion of economic cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan, strengthening awareness of the business climate and investment opportunities in Azerbaijan, and enhancing public-private dialogue.
In the framework of this mission, Turan Trade LLC’s Managing Director, Mr. Ibrahim Ismayilov held various business discussions with potential partners to explore opportunities for the Hungarian and Austrian companies in Nakhchivani market.
